Reece Dinsdale has been involved in some dark storylines since joining Emmerdale as character Paul Ashdale in April 2020.

The soap star turned up in the Yorkshire Dales as the former boyfriend of Mandy Dingle and the real father of Vinny Dingle, who was raised by Mandy when Paul left them.

And Emmerdale fans were left shocked on Thursday night when the soap villain met his grisly death in a huge barn explosion.

“For the record, I’ve died my hair only twice in my lifetime… in ‘96 for a film role & in 2014 to play Alan Bennett. My dad didn’t go grey until well into his 70’s! Anyone else wanting a cheap pop?” he joked.

In the snap we can see the actor owns a cosy blue sofa with red pillows on, and next to it sits a wicker basket.

The star also posted a photo of some gorgeous sunflowers on his wooden kitchen table, and we can see the space is stylish, bright and airy.

White cabinets run throughout the space and light stone spans the floor, however perhaps the most eye-catching aspect of the room is the popping blue kitchen island with a stylish wooden top and wooden stools pushed beneath.

The kitchen chairs are also a pop of colour, in shiny red and turquoise, showing that Reece’s home is far from boring.

Reece is married to Zara Turner, an actress from Northern Ireland. The couple live in Yorkshire with their two children, daughter Elwy, 19, son, Luca, 16, dog Nelly and cat RuSmall.

He also shared a video of the sweet dog running across his very large garden towards him, showing the actor has outdoor space a’plenty.

Reece kickstarted his career in TV and dabbled in theatre, moving between the two as he secured roles on stage and screen.

In 2008 Corrie fan Reece arrived on the cobbles and was said to be impressed with his onscreen daughter Michelle Keegan who he acted alongside.

Despite being somewhat of a villain on Emmerdale, his talent will be sorely missed.
