Season 5 teaser package points to Ant-Man, Matrix & more upcoming crossovers

Fortnite Season 5 teasers released ahead of the season still point to upcoming crossovers like The Matrix, Ant-Man, and many more.

Fortnite Season 5 is still chugging along, but what about the teasers that were released ahead of the season. Here’s what the community thinks about upcoming crossovers based on the information Epic have provided.

Back before the release of Fortnite Season 5, certain creators were sent packages that contained teasers for upcoming content. We covered these teasers at the time, but have since seen many of them come to fruition.

For example, the red face paint was a teaser for Kratos – one of the first crossover skins to enter the season. The rations likely relate to Master Chief and the sunglasses are a clear nod to Terminator.

We still have a lot of teasers to work with, though. What do the space bananas mean? What about the Everlast hand wraps? Does the gold backscratcher represent the addition of a female Midas skin?

If we assume that we’ve seen the rations (Master Chief), face paint (Kratos), baseball bat (Walking Dead), mud mask (Predator), and the sunglasses (Terminator) have been covered and exclude the Battle Pass skins, we only have a few clues left.

Here’s what the community thinks about all of the remaining teasers:

  • Hand Wraps: Boxer – possibly Rocky? Maybe it was related to Green Arrow
  • Gold Backscratcher: Female Midas
  • Space Bananas: Unknown, possibly Master Chief. Fans hope for Samus
  • Ant Farm: Ant-Man
  • Red/Blue Jellybeans: The Matrix
  • Coins: The Witcher

YouTuber Ali-A uploaded a video after the Terminator skins were announced, recapping the teasers that remain to be seen and adding his own thoughts to the topic.

There are a few crossovers that seem too obvious to ignore. A Matrix crossover seems inevitable, as does the release of Female Midas and Ant-Man skins. We’d put The Witcher into this category as well, but Epic could have been teasing the bounty system, as we’re rewarded with gold for completing quests.

We still have more than a month left in Fortnite Season 5, so we haven’t seen the last of these crossovers. As always, we’ll keep you posted when we hear news from official sources or data miners within the community.

A new portal has appeared in Fortnite, suggesting that Terminator will be the next bounty hunter entering the game.

The next bounty hunter coming to Fortnite could be from the Terminator universe, based on rumors and speculation.

Fortnite Season 5 has been bringing a ton of crossovers to the game. We’ve seen Halo, Mandalorian, Walking Dead, God of War, and more represented this Fortnite season.

Fans have been speculating as to which bounty hunter will come to the game next. Rumors had it that Lara Croft may be coming to Fortnite, but more recent information suggests it could be someone from the Terminator universe.

After v15.21, a new portal appeared. The portal showed a door that looked incredibly familiar. As many fans expected, it’s from the Terminator universe.

Naturally, this would suggest that Terminator, himself, will be headed to Fortnite at some point. With Predator and Mandalorian already in the game, this would make the most sense.

According to leaks, however, we might be getting a human character rather than a machine. Data miners have stated that the character related to this portal will be female. The most iconic female character in the Terminator universe is Sarah Connor.

The Terminator portal is called “Typhoon” and the only skin we know of with the same codename is called “TyphoonFemale”.

So we’ll probably get a female person from the Terminator movies, but not the Terminator himself.

These are only leaks and rumors at this point, but it’s a strong guess that we’ll see someone from Terminator enter Fortnite. Sarah Conner would be cool to see, but most fans would probably want to see Arnold come to the game. He is, after all, the iconic character in the franchise.

We’ll keep you posted when we learn more about the next Fortnite crossover. Until then, keep an eye on that portal.

Fortnite teasers point to the next crossover being Predator. We may even see this as the Season 5 secret skin.

Fortnite Season 5 is only a week old, but fans are already looking towards future crossovers. The next one looks to include Predator.

Over the past few years, Epic Games has established Fortnite as a hub where all realities meet. Back when this game first came out, no one thought we’d be able to have a squad that includes Iron Man, a Storm Trooper, a Demogorgon, and Kratos from God of War.

We’ve seen rumors of several upcoming crossovers, the most popular of which is Master Chief from the Halo series. He isn’t the only character that fans expect to see this season.

Several players have noticed a teaser for a Predator collaboration in Stealthy Stronghold. Many people thought this location would house a Jurassic Park crossover, but that might not be the case.

Stealthy Stronghold Fortnite

Top 5 Gaming, among other sources, noticed signs that point more strongly to Predator, rather than Jurassic Park.

“Check this out,” they wrote on Twitter. “Truck being used as a generator (in the Predator movie) plus the crashed helicopter and the LOGO of the predator locking onto something all in the same POI.”

T5G also related these teasers to the first Season 5 Agent Jonesy transmission that was released ahead of the new season. In it, you can hear Jonesy ask, “Why is every jungle in every reality crawling with venomous snakes and strange predators?” before something roars in the background.

Again, when this transmission was first released, players thought that this meant dinosaurs were coming to Fortnite. This might still be the case, but T5G drew special attention to the phrasing: “predators.”

We may see both a Jurassic Park and Predator crossover in Season 5, but we suspect that Predator is more likely. A Predator skin set would be easy to create, while it would be more difficult to select characters from the Jurassic Park/World universe.

With the Season 5 secret skin being a real secret this time, it’s even possible that we see a Predator skin included in the Battle Pass. As always, we’ll let you know when we find out more.

With the official trailer for the Last Laugh Bundle released, fans are wondering if The Joker will bring C4 back to Fortnite.

The Last Laugh bundle in Fortnite

On November 10, Epic Games released their first official teaser for the Last Laugh skin bundle – a bundle that was originally announced several months ago. The much-anticipated group will include a new version of Midas, Poison Ivy, and – the one everyone is waiting for – Joker.

It will be interesting to see Joker enter Fortnite during the middle of Marvel-themed season, but Fortnite has already established itself as a universe where all of these characters can exist together. After all, Batman playing in a squad with a Storm Trooper and Demogorgon isn’t as crazy as The Joker and Iron Man playing together.

The trailer for the Last Laugh skin bundle was one of the best Fortnite skin trailers that we’ve seen. It even makes Midas seem like one of the team – as if he and The Joker joined forces after his unfortunate mishap with the shark at the beginning of Season 3.

There was one item that was featured heavily in the trailer – something that everyone will immediately notice: C4. C4 has been in and out of Fortnite for a while, as it was always a powerful way to counter turtling in competitive and casual modes.

The Joker’s return could also trigger (no pun intended) the return of C4. We doubt that it will ever come back to competitive – Epic had to nerf it to the point where players would only find one at a time – but it’s always been a unique, balanced item in core game modes.

Of course, this is only speculation for now. C4 could have been nothing more than a prop in Joker’s release announcement.

The Last Laugh Bundle is set to hit the Item Shop this week, so keep an eye out for that. Until then, we’ll keep you posted with all of your Fortnite news.
